I have always had a love for making and collecting things, starting with my childhood collection of Teddy Bears. Growing up in New York City, my father would take my sister and me to FAO Schwarz, where we were allowed to choose one special toy. I always gravitated towards cute and small items, often selecting a teddy bear. Many of these bears were made in Germany and hold precious memories for me. Some of them have now become valuable collector's items.

As I grew older, my collecting interests expanded, leading me on the exciting hunt for that "special something." I would visit flea markets, antique shows, and now, of course, explore online shopping. Over time, I gathered various items, crafts, and collectibles, combining them with my passion for creating. And thus, Mon Petit Chou Boxes was born.

You may be wondering where the name "Mon Petit Chou Boxes" comes from. "Mon petit chou" is a French term of endearment that translates to "my little cabbage head" in English. I learned this saying in my junior high school French class, and it has always stuck with me.

My mother attended Parsons Art School and has always had impeccable taste, which I believe has been passed down to me. Initially, I started making decorative boxes as gifts for my family and friends, but now I want to share them with you as well.
